Cierra is a Registered Nurse who lives in Atlanta, GA. Early in the pandemic she was exposed to Covid-19 and decided to help out in NYC rather than risking her families safety. Cierra is also the founder of the CBD and Cannabis non-profit "Care with Balance and Dignity".

Shaun lives in Richmond, VA and works as an Advanced Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her twin sister is also a nurse and they co-own and operate a diabetes wellness center. Shaun suffers from heart disease and dedicates her time working with cardiac patients.

Kimberly A. Ketter

Kim is Shaun's twin sister and she works as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator. She is co-owner of a wellness Center with her sister. Kim has also dealt with cardiac issues and has written a stage play to bring awareness of heart issues to the community.

Marica Moore

Marica is a Critical Care specialist with 18 years of experience. Since the pandemic began she has assisted with bedside patient care while training fellow nurses. Marica uses yoga to relax and relieve the stress from her challenging workload.

Dr. Terri Page works as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about caring for the underserved in her Virginia community. Terri is vocal about the importance of wearing a mask properly and stopping the spread of Covid-19

Sonia is an RN and a case manager for the Health Care System. She says the profession of nursing chose her at an early age. However, the stress of the pandemic and the way nurses have been treated made her question her profession for the first time.

Dr. Sandy Gibson
NEPHROLOGIST
Dr. Gibson has practiced kidney disease medicine since 1989. He is focused and dedicated to increasing the level of care given to his community. Dr. Gibson is aware of the pre-existing conditions that make Covid-19 worse and the mistrust of doctors in the Black community.

Ivette Palomeque

Ivette is an experienced nurse that has criss-crossed the country fighting Covid-19. She spent several weeks in NYC during the height of the pandemic. Despite fearing for her own life she fought valiantly on the front lines. Ivette has been interviewed many times on national news.

Clarese Bradley
MSN, RN, ACNP - BC
Clarese is an acute care nurse in Howell, NJ. This 32 year old Hampton, VA graduate saw several family members die from Covid-19 after returning from a wedding in Italy. Outside of work she dedicates her time teaching the next generation of nurses at a local college.

Robyn Roots
MSN, RN, CDN
Robyn works as a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner in Richmond, VA. She began her career in the area of Nephrology almost 33 years ago. Her kind spirit and strong background has opened opportunities in film as a writer, director, and producer on several projects.

Pastor Kenneth Rioland

Kenneth is a working pastor of a church in Washington, DC. He is a cousin of nurse Robyn Roots. Kenneth serves as a spiritual leader in his community and counselor to his members and medical professionals dealing with the harsh effects of Covid-19

Katrina is a registered nurse with 16 years in the critical care and rehab field. She lives in Richmond, VA. Like many nurses, Katrina suffered from depression and PTSD while working during the pandemic. Despite the challenges she continued to show up each day.

Tanisha Flowers

Tanisha is a Covid-19 survivor. She lost her taste and smell and it did not return for months. When Tanisha returned to work this affected the way she was able to care for her patients. She is living proof of the long haul symptoms that many Covid-19 survivors deal with.

Ashley Hancock

Ashley recently became a RN after working as a LPN for 20 years. She currently works in a Neuroscience ICU unit in Richmond, VA. Ashley has worked in long-term care and surgery trauma units. This year, she began screening corporate employees for for Covid-19.
